Before this weekend I had tried to see Bon Iver twice, once at the Turf Club and once at the Electric Fetus, and both times the shows were sold out when I got there so when I heard that they were coming back to the Turf Club I bought tickets immediately. 4 days ago I had never seen Bon Iver live, I have now seen them 3 times. A little ridiculous? Perhaps. Am I ok with that? Absolutely.
I’m going to (try) to let the photos speak for themselves, but the shows were amazing and I’m glad that not only did I see Saturday’s show at the Turf Club, but I was also able to catch Sunday’s (thanks, Gabe!) and Tuesday’s in Duluth (thanks again, Gabe!). There’s nothing more amazing than watching somebody in the middle of doing what they truly love to do. I feel so fortunate that I found this photography passion of mine and that I’m able to live this dream every day, and I get so excited when I see other people take their lives into their own hands, throw inhibition to the wind, and go after their passions. I felt that with all 3 of these concerts and I hope I can convey little glimpses of that through the photos. Buy this album, you need it.
