I just wrote a big blog post about my weekend in Kansas City and then wordpress ate it. Maybe that’s ok. Maybe all I need to say is THANK YOU to Amy, Carl, Kristy, Josh, Jenny, Adam, and Kelley, for the exact weekend that I needed. I’m so excited to see what 2012 has in store for all of us, and am beyond grateful that I could kick it off with all of you.

As soon as I got my iPhone I fell in love with creating images with it. It quickly became my most-used camera and a way for me to document day-to-day life and easily capture the fleeting moments in my own world.
Through apps like instagram I’m constantly reminded by my amazing photographer friends that incredible images aren’t created by incredible cameras, they’re created by incredible photographers. It’s fun and inspiring to be pushed to create beautiful images out of a little chunk of plastic that captures light in its own crazy way and at its core is suppose to be used primarily as a telephone.
With that in mind, I’m so in love with the iPhone as a photograph-creating tool that I’ve decided to make some of my iPhone images available on Etsy as 5×5 prints. I want to spread the simple image creating joy, so I’ve set the price at a sweet $9.
I’d love for you to check them out and, if you connect to them and feel inspired to, display them in your own home or send them to your friends + family. <3
