It’s officially fall here in the Pacific Northwest and before the rain begins and we all slip into hibernation mode I want to run around and play outside a little bit longer. SO! In celebration of fall, my favorite season, and to celebrate my move to Tacoma one year ago this November I want to offer an awesome portrait special.

I’m head over heels in love with photography and think it’s so powerful. When Sarah Jurado photographed Scott and I I know that it made me see our relationship in a different light and I fell even more in love with him and I know that we’re going to hire many photographers to document our love as it changes throughout the years. Every day I’m blown away that I get to share this love and this art with families by documenting their connection together, and I can’t wait to meet you and fall in love with your family, too.

I’ve been wanting to do a shoot for David and his family for a long time. Dave and I grew up together and went to school in good ol’ Pequot Lakes, MN and during high school he fell head over heels in love with Sarah. After we graduated he went to MCAD, got married, had a baby boy, kicked design ass at MCAD, had another baby boy, worked at every major design firm in Minneapolis, had another baby boy, became the official designer of hamburgers, then had a baby girl!
Am I missing anything? 
Ok, maybe it wasn’t EXACTLY like that, I could’ve missed a few things. BUT, what I definitely know is that David is one of the hardest working people I know in both his professional and personal life, and I’m so so glad that we reconnected and are now, once again, BFFs. It was so fun for Scott and I to finally meet the entire Schwen clan and reconnect with this awesome family.
I adore you all and can’t wait for many more pizza nights.
